Iam about to have my routine "watch and wait" blood test. I am due a flu jab two days beforehand. Does anyone know if this jab could affect the blood count levels and give a reading not involved with CLL condition?
Thanks. Best wishes to all.

Hi Lindy,
I've been on W&W for 3 years now and have had a seasonal Flu jab every winter - in fact I had one last week.
In that time, I've had no indication that the jab affects my blood readings.
Kind regards,
Ian

Hi, I have recently had my flu
Jab and my blood tests this week were still in the normal range and unaltered.
It is sensible to have your flu jab on "watch and wait".
I was told that when I was on Chemo last year, it would probably make the flu jab ineffective therefore not needed during treatment.
Your GP would confirm this.
Hope this helps
